The Wyatt's Warriors Congenital Heart Defects Foundation of Canada was started In Loving Memory of Wyatt who was born with a congenital heart defect.  Wyatt's battle to live with his heart defect ended at the young age of 2.

> Congenital Heart Defects (CHD's) are the #1 birth defect and #1 cause of death from a birth defect
> Congenital Heart Defects kill more children every year than ALL childhood cancers COMBINED
> 1 in 70 Canadian newborns will be afected by 1 of the 35 known types of CHD's

Despite all these facts, there is no routine prenatal screening or newborn testing done for CHD's.
